The CCNA Certification

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is Cisco network foundation level certification. At the end of CCNA candidates should be able to successfully undertake a number of important networks, maintenance and troubleshooting such as installation, configuration and operating LAN, WAN and related online services for small networks, as well as having good knowledge protocols such as IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs: n, Ethernet, and access lists.

While there are no prerequisites for CCNA certification, CCNA should not keep clean entry-level networking certification. CCNA Self-certification is directed more towards those who have an average level of networking experience and knowledge. Those who have little or no previous experience should perhaps be considered for entry-level networking certification (such as CompTIA Network +) as a springboard for the CCNA certification.
